I'm going to try the mana-ball sorcerer now - don't worry it won't follow up with another long article like this. Besides they are not that hard to beat - the secret is potions and having your hp as low as possible (even if you have say 400 hp, let them damage you until around the amount enough so that you won't die in the next turn). I'm not going to provide walkthroughs on how to beat the bosses - you're going to have to figure it out for yourself. So.well that's it folks, It isn't rocket science. For later, every point goes into Avenger and vitality. And we want to have fun, right? Secondly, it is more effective than split (thanks to Inner Strength) - you will be using it instead of Avenger at the beginning of the battles. Why? First of all it's a very fun skill to use. You will still be surviving with a Double Strike/Split formula (not to mention a belt full of potions!) Everything else to Avenger. Put a point into Split as it is very useful when your enemy is around its fullest HP (it does damage based on the enemy's total life). 1 pt into speed, 3 vitality, 1 into strength. Why? Because Avenger will not be powerful enough yet to be considered effective at level 15. Why? Because you will need it for Executioner at level 15. Until Avenger/Split, Double Strike will be your primary skill. The reason for that is because the Jump attack is far too inaccurate and Speed strike requires speed, which you will have very little. Early on the game it really isn't important how you allocate your skill points, but I suggest about 1 in every prereq and 2 into double strike. and 2 into vit.(life) and 1 to speed allocating as fit. I found that 75 % of my gold went into pots - you should have at least 20+life and mana potions for the entire duration of the game! Sometimes you get into a potion cramp, where you will have to drink a potion each turn just to stay alive - you certainly do not want to run out all of a sudden do you?įirst and foremost, get the gear from the first floor weapons vendor (all the items) by running around selling that medicine. Not only will you be more ready for your next fight, but you'll also receive a free full heal! You can exit the training arena anytime you want during the battle and it will still record your exp. If your exp almost nears level up, don't waste gold to heal yourself, instead head to the training arena and hit the spire (on hardest level) for enough to level you up. Remember the longer you can stay without gulping down that healing potion, the more damage Avenger will do. You may do whatever you want, but I suggest something with good defence/res (just so the enemy does not kill you with 1 hit). Until like level 10 I used a hammer that dealt extra damage to shields. This Walkthrough deals with skill allocation rather than gear. You just have to know the threshhold, when you can say "hit me" or go for that life potion. Therefore, you would WANT to have low hp - it's ok, an average monster (save the metal golem) in the game never deals enough to kill you in one hit. The more max hp you have, the more damage it will end up doing. Usually it's an asininely huge percent, if enough pts are spent into it. Avenger works by increasing your damage by percent of life you lost from your total amount of HP. Overall: You will be using Avenger as your primary killing spell. Here's a walkthrough for this type of build: Level 18 avenger that does around 3000 damage. This is only a helping thread for those that can't beat the game I haven't tried a mana-bomb sorcerer yet.
